Maite graduated from the Musical Theatre Conservatory Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC). NYC credits include Hyppolitus (Artemis), Death of a Salesman (Linda Loman u/s), Uncle Vanya (Marina, Mrs. Voinitsky u/s), and La Gran Semíramis (Semíramis), which earned her a Latin ACE Award and an HOLA Award. Most recently she has played the role of Camila Rosario and Abuela Claudia in different productions of In The Heights. In film, she has shot the features Little Galicia and Retry as well as multiple short films, the latest of which, Olvido has earned her Best Actress Awards at several international film festivals. She has originated the character Maite for the bilingual children’s TV show “Trash Bash”. She dedicates this role to her mother. @maiteuzal
